Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe - Lexington

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. Despite it looking like a typical chain Greek restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I ordered the lamb salad and was amazed by the presentation and generous portion of perfectly grilled lamb. Unlike other restaurants where you only get a small amount of meat in your salad, this one was packed with delicious lamb. My only complaint was that it was difficult to cut the lamb with just a butter knife. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.

This restaurant is like the Panera Bread of Mediterranean food. It has a fresh and casual chain feel, but it falls short in terms of cleanliness. I had the grilled chicken pita with Greek salad and basmati rice, which was served in a decent portion size along with a drink, side of hummus, and a brownie. However, I felt that the prices were a bit high compared to other local Mediterranean places like Oasis or Sawara. The food was good, but not exceptional. The restaurant itself was beautiful and clean, with a nice terrace. The service was fast. It's worth a try, but there are better, more authentic Mediterranean options with better value. Sawara, for example, is harder to get to on a weekday, so this place may have more convenient hours.
