A few kumpels and I dined at the leyburn pub and stayed in the cabins above the street. the pub was wonderful, great personal and fabulous atmosphere. we were late in winter and enjoyed the open fire in the evening. the huts over the street were excellent and themselves included. excellent for tired travelers including those with children. a great experience will be back
A nice pub serving delicious meals that are fresh and tasty. the large outdoor area from the back is the better seat option and it is best to reserve a table when it feeds on a busy day. a visit worth when in.
We spent the weekend in leyburn and were very impressed by the employees and management of the royal hotel. the evening dinner on Friday night was excellent, and the huge buffet lunch on Sunday was raised! Many thanks, shane and sam and their very welcoming...staff for really our weekend so special.
Much better than we expected! Dined for lunch and meals were very large and of good pub quality. Pub itself is immaculate and very clean. Beautifully restored and a very scenic and comfortable covered outdoor area at the back. Recommend the battered fish and chips....Drinks at low prices. Well worth a drive to this lovely country town.
