We have revisited Vergina today after Christianna and her husband literally saved our Corfu vacation nine years ago when we got stranded on the island in high season with a hotel so bad, we could not stay there for even a night. They selflessly helped us out and managed to find us a simple but clean stay at Maria’s apartments just around the corner from their place. We ended up coming for breakfast to Vergina every morning and Christianna went out of her way to serve us the nicest morning treats. The coffee is great too and their snacks are all made with love. So whether you’re on your way to a beach and just stopping by to grab something on the go or staying in for a bit, I can whole heartedly recommend Vergina for place and the lovely people who run it.
