Chipotle Mexican Grill - Libertyville

Guac is always brown, staff is never kind, everything is messy. Chips were burnt this time. This chipotle is run terribly.

Was one of the first customers of the day, but the food on the line looked like it was there for a while. I found several pieces of gristle in the steak, and the guacamole had 3 pieces of the little stem. I asked for a few chips, received 7, and was charged $1.50.

Ridiculous. Ordered a catering for a company luncheon and they forgot to deliver tortillas and wanted to hit me with another $25 fee for sending them out as they use a third-party delivery vendor. It was their mistake and refused to pay for it. By the way it was a catering order over $300.

Every time I come in the employees have a terrible attitude and the counter is always messy but that’s not what’s reallyy annoying. What’s annoying is when all the guac on my order is a completely frozen inedible avocado with the skin still on it that bends my metal fork when trying to mash it up. I got a side of guac that was also just a frozen avocado. On top of that the chicken is overly salty and rice undercooked. Everything seems to just be going downhill. I still give the service 2 stars as I understand they probably don’t get paid enough to care and maybe they were having a bad day. I tried calling to complain but the computer answering system that tries to decipher key words did not understand “complaint about frozen avocados” and I couldn't get through to a real person. I wasn’t even going to post this review as I won’t be going back after being disappointed for the last time, but maybe this will validate someone else feeling the same way. If you’re also a victim of terrible chipotle food and service I hear you and see you. You deserve better. Love yourself and accept that maybe Qdoba is a better option.

The employees were more concerned talking and joking with each other instead of taking my order. Chips were stale, chunk of the avocado peel was in my gauc, and the meat taste like it had been sitting out for a while. Qdoba is soooooo much better.
