Update 8/13/23:Customer service has really started to suffer here, sadly. The ladies at the counter are not courteous at times. The issue stems from the lack of organization at the counter with food and coffee orders. Food comes out, a counter person announces it once, and that's it. It's up to you to have heard it and to come and get your order. Often the front area is busy enough to make hearing the counterstaff difficult. If you start enquiring about your order they get testy. No management on site to see this.A nice place to sit and read a book or chat with a friend. The pastries at this place are very tasty. Been going there consistently now for a week. My only input to make this a better place would be to have some healthier snacks readily available.Update : this place has become a Libertyville favorite. Before the pandemic hit I had been going for months. The coffee is consistently good, not great, but that's okay. The bagels and eggs are okay but tend to be over buttered and over salted. The counter help tends to be young and the service is sometimes a bit lacking, but that's okay too. Don't hesitate to come here. Still no healthful snacks.

Love the coffee here as they have unique lattes and flavors. They even have two types of vanilla bean flavor which they make themself.Vegetarian options: All options were vegetarian

Wow, not what I expected!The two girls(the blonde in a ponytail and the shoulder length brunette) who were working as cashiers Tuesday morning of this week, were not only rude and unfriendly, but seemed bothered by every customer that came up to order. The obvious display of immaturity and ignorance that I witnessed as I waited for my order, which included the occasional eye roll, was shocking.Seriously, find a new line of work if you are that miserable.It can’t be that difficult to be kind! Unbelievable!

Fantastic spot but the food takes sometimes 20-30 minutes even for simple orders. Usually the best option is to order ahead. Took 30+ minutes for the Denver Haze sandwich to come out.

Change the rating from 5 to 2 star. I've got my shot of expresso.Not my favorite barista anymore. It is used to be a happy place... dark and moody now. The awareness and appreciation of a customer was not present this morning.
