Asked to get ours cleaned and despite saying they would clean it,nothing. So when i asked again i was given paper towel and i had to clean it myself. 3, When we were sat at the table the service was very slow. Ordered the food and approximately 30 mins later it was served. My order was the Venison sausage and mash. What a disappointment !! Presented as two sausages on a small amount of mashed potato. No garnish etc. Then when i sampled the sausage, it was way over cooked and i could not cut the meat.So I sent it back. Overall impression was that the staff need better training. The Manageress looked stressed and the restaurant could do with a good clean. Won't be back.
Came for Burns Night! Was amazing from start to finish, Emma’s service was tremendous and not to mention she got us this table very last minute on such a busy night of the year, the haggis was to die for. Also, the young lad running was also very attentive and made sure my drinks were topped up. Which is a bonus!
We went for Burns Night last night. Food and service were both excellent. Emma and her team are welcoming and friendly. It’s the second year we’ve been. It was a great night and would highly recommend.
We were there for Burns Night the 25th January. This is the 3rd year we have been and it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The food was delicious and the staff we really friendly. Look forward to 2025
We went as a group of 4 for a Sunday evening meal. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience. Super friendly, relaxed service and excellent food for all of us. Will definitely be regular visitors in future.
