Toscana Lidingö - Lidingoe

This is a family run restaurant hidden in a living area on the island of Lidingö just outside of Stockholm. It is not a fancy show off place to go and eat. It´s a down to earth, good food warm service restaurant. We love the northern Italian style pizzas with a thin and crispy bottom, fresh and delicious tomato sauce and fresh vegetables on top. This is what they offer. If you like the thick bread type bottom, it is not the right pizza place for you. I personally don´t like the thick bread type bottom because it gets soggy in the end and also, there is more bread than the toppings. Anyway, the chef here can cook well so we and other guests also order their pasta and other stuff. We love his vegetarian pasta! The sauce is divine! The mother and daughter take care of the waiting. We always receive kind and nice service. A great place for after work when you are too tired to cook or when you want to have a nice meal with your friend, colleague or family. They also have takeout.

Totally ok pizza but I only got one out of two pizzas that I ordered. We had to wait for a new one and we received no compensation despite the problem that arose. The woman working there was nice. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: kr 100–200
