Pasquale Paoli - L'Île-Rousse

We loved this restaurant! The service was super the waiter spoke very good English and had a wonderful knowledge of the local wines and the area in general. He also explained all of the foods on the menu and helped us with our choices. The restaurant has an outdoor seating area but we chose to eat inside which I think was nicer in this instance as there was a lovely homely feel to the decor. Great food and wine, great atmosphere, great service we would have gone back if we had had time during our holiday.

We just happened upon this lovely restaurant where we sat at a table in the open covered area in the square. The waiter carried food from the kitchen across the street. The service was friendly and we didn't have a long wait but I would have waited twice as long for the meals that arrived. Our party of three had black pudding, risotto, open veal ravioli. Each meal was superb. We have voted this the best of the many restaurants we went to in Corsica over a ten day visit.

We had booked months ahead for lunch and was not disappointed. Food was really good and the waiter was attentive and nice. We sat on the terrace facing the square which was lovely. We highly recommend.

We stopped there for lunch and we were very happy we did. Food was reasonably priced (between 14 and 18 euros for a plate). I had the raviole with veal and it was delicious.
