This place has been around a number of years with practically the same staff serving and cooking. The owner is frequently there to greet patrons. Simple straightforward menu. Consistency in the quality of the food and service.A great place for a business lunch.

Best Caesar Salad and Wood Oven Pizza. As a huge fan of Caesar salads, i try them at just about every restaurant I visit, yet the Caesar Salad at la Vielle Cheminée is simply exquisite, it remains my favourite! Clearly, some may be used to cheap sauces made from 'Renee 's salad dressing ' for example , which is in fact the dressing McDonald 's gives out for their Caesar salads (I know because I 've worked there until recently). Therefore, it is quite understanding that someone who orders Caesar salads from McDonald 's can 't appreciate a rich, delightfully crafted sauce which includes fresh anchovies ! I often visit this restaurant and my mouth waters just at the thought of their delicious food! Best wood oven pizza in town. Never a disappointment
