The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. It feels like the family is having us over for dinner. We always order the same delicious meals: fried shrimp dumplings (affectionately spelled dumblings on the menu), general Tao chicken, Cantonese chow mein, and salt and pepper calamari. The portions are generous so the leftovers feed us for days. The fried food is very crispy and not at all oily. Highly recommend! Vegetarian options: Lots of tofu and veggie dishes! This has been our go to for Chinese food since we first found it Three years ago. The General Tao Chicken is absolutely delicious, and the dim sum should not be missed. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We ordered general Tao chicken, some pieces were chicken while some were some sort of dough disguised as chicken, very strange experience. I understand that the restaurant is trying to cut costs but I was expecting chicken when ordering general Tao chicken. Besides that the taste was good. The chicken dumplings were tasty. Finally the chicken egg rolls are a huge miss. Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$20–30 Food: 3 Recommended dishes: Tao Chicken, Dumpling
Food here is always perfect, loved the bubble te, and service makes you feel like family. Terrible food. Lacking flavour or texture. This was one of the most disappointing food experiences I can remember. We ordered sticky rice, general Tao chicken, pad Thai, and beef with Chinese broccoli. The sticky rice was acceptable and general Tao edible if very mediocre. The pad Thai tasted like ketchup with hardly any shrimp. The beef was limp, the sauce had no flavour, and the Chinese broccoli was almost raw.
