I was not ready for that amount. Next time I will order 1 for 2 people. The soup noodle was huge amd super tasty. I couldn't finish it. I am a foodie and this generally isn't an issue. So suggestions: 1. Be ware of the amount of food 2. Don't dog in right away, the soup is 120 degrees 3. Try the original first. It's great. 4. Take your time to order. 5. Don't order any app if you are having noodles. Trust me you can't finish it. It was a good and fun experience for me. Love their presentation and how the food it totally worth it.
Kimchi and tofu soup was delicious as were the original and the mushroom soup that my dining companions had (both with the addition of lamb slices). We did not try many of the 10 toppings that came with the soup. The noodles were not over cooked. The chefs and kitchen staff were very friendly. Recommended!
Well I'm not one to leave bad reviews about places but this restaurant will have to be an exception. We walked in while the restaurant was quite busy and we were the only white people there. I get that a rush is stressful but the staff were rude, showing us how to eat the said meal like we were bratty children. It was condescending to say the least and this happened with more than one waiter. So if you want to check this place out, you better be Asian because if not they'll reverse racism the **** out of you!
So happy I tried this place. I tried the spicy and sour fish broth and it was delicious, heartwarming, not too spicy and not too sour. The fish inside was very fresh and the rice noodles were perfectly chewy. We also took the pig ear and grilled calamari tentacles and they were also delicious. The service is fast and the staff is nice. The place isn't big but it's clean and cozy. It's located right next to the H building from concordia. This kind of food would be perfect for MTL's long and cold winter.
