This is clearly the place to be seen in Marrakech. An elegant restaurant, where your experience starts with aperitifs in the courtyard, before moving to the dark interior of the restaurant. The menu is short, but all the food was excellent Moroccan cuisine nothing complicated or fussy, but tastes divine. You just can't go wrong with lamb in Marrakech! The goat's cheese and ginger bread Mille Fueille was excellent too. The obligatory Marrakech bellydancing show follows dinner, but do hang around and then move upstairs to the cool bar area, with a more modern musical accompaniment! If you want to go to one cool, modern, but still Moroccan, restaurant in Marrakech, I would definitely recoomend Le Comptoir. In Morrocan terms it isn't cheap, but you would struggle to breach £50 a head, and would pay twice that for similar in London.
Vegan food sans pretentiousness!__Kind of rough around the edges which is the best! The front side patio over looking Whyte Ave in the summer is prime
