Caplina - Lima

After venting for a few surfing in the middle of the morning, jogging here for lunch. Little difficult to reach because the game of Fritten via a busy highway to get there. Once there is, during the non-speaking summer season, only one identity card, and you are accompanied to the restaurant. Once Glina (sp. has been around us, with drinks, an amazing mixed seafood ceviche, and seafood rice, lomo-saltado, and an oven baked filled fish dish. Unbelievable.

This place should be great, but we really found it missing. To begin, you need to have reservations and even then you need to wait. People don't seem as friendly as they should be. The food was good, but not good and could not be very close. Would I go back there? Maybe not because there are so many great places to eat in Lima.

Having lived in Peru for many years and knowing top Petuvian food my family and I were very disappointed with lunch here on Sunday 30 th April. The ambience is fine, there is street parking outside, the service is average. Our order was served in installments! My wifes pulpo a parrillada octupus on the barbecue) was cold and sent back. My brothers baby beef was overcooked and sent back too. The meals were served piecemeal. We will not be returning. The prices are on the medium to high side.

We had lunch on the last day of our trip to Peru: fantastic ceviche, fresh full of aromas and flavors, fantastic octopuses, some of the best we've ever had; good beef, exquisite pisco. Nice atmosphere, very courteous service, nice place in Miraflores to relax. We strongly recommend this restaurant!

The ambience was beautiful, the reception and the seat service were very good. The chairs are old, shaded and stained; they certainly need cleaning and fixing. The arroz con mariscos (rice with seafood) looks more like arroz chaufa con mariscos , not the exact thing, the ossobuco was salty and the meat with grilled vegetables were totally bland, a bunch of vegetables burned in the grill. A contempt, we thought the situation would bring a good value, courts are not cheap. Not recommended. Try something else. First and last visit for our family.
