Savoy - Limerick

During a recent stay at the Savoy hotel for a romantic getaway, I was let down by my experience. Despite booking an executive suite, the bathroom was unclean and the TV had a weak WiFi connection, resulting in none of the radio channels functioning. The vitality suite was lacking, with a faulty jacuzzi, murky water, and a clogged drain in the steam room. The pool had human hair on the edges, a bandage, and grimy windows. The only clock was stopped, forcing us to resort to using our phones to check the time. While breakfast was decent and the bar food was passable, the meal at Hamptons was disappointing, particularly the tough and chewy ribeye. On the bright side, the staff were pleasant, especially Tom and Andi at the bar. When we checked out, the receptionist failed to inquire about our stay, simply validating our parking ticket and emailing the receipt. Overall, I do not plan on returning to the Savoy anytime soon and question the validity of its 5-star rating.

This Irish hotel is truly excellent from beginning to end. The valet parking was convenient and worth the €30. Kes made our check-in smooth, even fixing a mistake in our booking and giving us a complimentary upgrade. Our executive room was luxurious with fluffy robes, slippers, and high-end amenities. The executive lounge had plenty of snacks and drinks. The downstairs bar had a great atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff. We can't wait to come back; this hotel is hospitality perfection!

I can't wait to return! Five of us stayed at this restaurant for a girls' weekend getaway. Everything was perfect from the beginning to end. All the staff were extremely kind, especially Igor. There was another nice gentleman that we didn't get the name of, unfortunately. The leisure center was very relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and the staff went above and beyond for us. We will definitely be returning.

A group of us stayed this weekend in your hotel. I couldn’t recommend the hotel highly enough. It is a beautiful hotel right in the heart of Limerick. The Hen party was fantastic and so well Co ordinated by your event staff, from activities ,to our meal ,to the bar and restaurant staff ,the Concierge desk and our gorgeous bedroom not to forget the fantastic breakfast we were served the following morning from an extensive menu to our table It was simply the best Top marks. We were very impressed with your service and the ambiance of the hotel.

The service and atmosphere were excellent, alas the food was very poor and a big disappointment to the majority of my party.
