Zooma Caters - Lincoln Ave

Pizza, originally an Italian creation, has been perfected by this establishment beyond compare.

We stopped here as a small group to not only taste the wines, but to have a bite to eat at Zooma. Zooma is located within Westcott Vineyards in Jordan, Ontario. We had no trouble getting some wines to sample and eventually chose ones to have a glass with our lunch at Zooma. Some had the delicious grilled cheese while others had the flatbread pizza. What a great was to spend a hour or two with some friends.

In the midst of people continually trying to bring Toronto restaurant experiences to wine country, (if I want Toronto, I'll go to Toronto), its always a pleasure to find a casual dining experience with really good food at a great value. Zooma Caters at Wescott offers the perfect casual wine country dining experience. The menu is large and varied with offerings such as cheese plates, pizza, lobster grilled cheese, and seared tuna. The only thing that surpasses the menu is the flavour of the food.

We recently were traveling through Jordan and Beamsville on a wine tour with friends and stopped into Zooma Caters (at Wescott Vineyards) on a recommendation from a sommelier friend in Toronto. We were not disappointed! We drove up the driveway to a lush and scenic patio restaurant set amongst the vines of Wescott winery. The seating is all outdoors, but I did inquire about indoor events and apparently they host amazing seasonal 'Fireside Fridays' with local fair prepared by the on-site culinary brilliance of Zooma Caters. We sat down under the shade of a generously sized cloth umbrella overlooking the hillside and enjoyed the Moroccan chicken pizza, an artisan board with delicate treasures including salted radishes, house cured fish, local charcuterie and honey drizzled nuts and some peach shortbread crumble for dessert. The flavours were tantalizing, and so exciting - expertly paired with a bottle of the estate Rose. My husband and his business partner played Bocci ball while myself and a friend sipped our wine and took in the view. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable, recommending local attractions and other popular destinations to enjoy during our mini-holiday. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and chef, Steve Delcol. He was incredibly down to earth and we loved chatting with him. We plan to share our new favourite winery restaurant with all our friends...or no one so we can keep this wonderful gem to ourselves ;) Visit Zooma Caters at Wescott Vineyards for a truly amazing farm-to-table, culinary experience in the vineyards! Sunday was truly a special day for those of us gathered at Westcott Vineyards. The 4 course brunch/lunch catered by Zooma Caterers was a winner as were the wines that accompanied the different courses. All of the dishes featured fresh ingredients, locally sourced and reflected Spring flavours. Steve and his creative team did an excellent job! Thank you all for such a lovely few hours.
