This is the best place to get locally made ice cream! We always choose the French vanilla and death by chocolate flavors. We enjoy it drizzled with our homemade smoked maple syrup from our farm, and the combination is absolutely delicious. The prices are more affordable than anywhere else, and the ordering process is quick. Plus, the staff is friendly and fun!

I've visited this place a few times, and my whole family loves the Kwartha ice cream. It consistently meets my expectations. While it’s not a fancy establishment by any means, it's definitely worth stopping by. They offer a wide range of options, and the staff is always friendly and ready to answer any questions. I've noticed there’s usually a bit of a wait, and unfortunately, there’s no parking available, so I had to park across the street. They do have a drive-thru, but the line can get quite long, which just shows how popular this spot is. For many, the smaller sizes will be sufficient, but if you really love ice cream, I’d recommend going for a larger size. Considering the quality and quantity of the ice cream, the prices are quite reasonable. Overall, it's a place you should visit if you're in the area. All the flavors we've tried so far have been great, but my personal favorite is the mango flavor.

I don't understand how anyone could give this place anything less than 5 stars. You go there for the ice cream, and that's all you need to know—it’s Kawartha ice cream, and it’s fantastic! The staff is always friendly and doing their best, even when it gets busy. Yes, there might be times when they are short on certain flavors, but that's a widespread issue and not specific to this store; it’s just how things are right now. They simply scoop the ice cream for you, so any complaints about other matters, aside from maybe an uneven scoop, really aren’t their fault. Overall, it’s the BEST ICE CREAM YOU CAN GET, and this location is exceptional!

Love that this location has both a drive thru and a walk up option. Be prepared if you are planning to use the drive thru that there will be a line up to get in, but you won't have to wait too long. The line usually goes pretty quickly, especially M Th. Lots of options for ordering Scooped ice cream, milk shakes, sherbert, or just pick up some grocery items like milk, butter or eggs.

Amazing ice cream shakes. I have not had better. Service is slow because there is always a line at the walk up counter drive through. We'll worth the visit.
