Smokehouse Cafe - Lineville

The exterior of the restaurant is quite uninviting, with only the open sign indicating they were still operating. The town itself has a rough and dirty appearance, and a fresh coat of paint would really make a difference. However, the burgers were excellent—truly outstanding! The homemade onion rings were a highlight as well. Unfortunately, our server was unwelcoming and seemed annoyed to assist us. Despite our attempts to lighten the mood with some jokes, we were met with a poor attitude in return. Additionally, the restaurant still permits cigarette smoking, which we were fortunate not to encounter until after our meal. Had we experienced smoking while eating, we likely would have left, as it's unpleasant, especially in a dining environment. To sum it up, the building and the town feel old and run-down, the waitress was unfriendly, and smoking is allowed, but the burgers and onion rings were fantastic.

This restaurant is an exceptional dining spot! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the owner adds to the warm atmosphere, making you feel like you're dining in your mom's kitchen with some fantastic home-cooked meals. If you miss the chance to eat here, you're really missing out! I tried their smoked brisket, and it was truly tender, practically falling apart! It was juicy, not dry like many smoked briskets, and had the perfect amount of smoke; it practically melts in your mouth! As a trucker, I don’t often get to enjoy places like this, but I assure you that I will detour to eat here again because the food is that good! The prices are fair, exactly what you’d expect from a cozy little spot like the Smokehouse. I can't wait to return, and trust me, if you skip this gem of a restaurant, it’s your loss! Five stars don’t even capture how amazing this place is!

Stopped in to get Biscuits and Gravy and they were amazing!

Fries were hot and fresh had so many had to bring burger home for later and the entertainment tax lady been sick 3 days

Great food, friendly and prompt service and reasonable prices. The rib eye sandwich was excellent. The tenderloin sandwich was also very good as were the fries and onion rings.
