Manhattan Pizza-urbana

We love going to Manhattan Pizza in Urbana. Small setting and great pizza for our family. Staff is always friendly! Garlic knots are delish!

Came in for lunch specials and the guy running the register was clearly new and training. We didn 't realize until later that despite the manager telling him to not charge for the drinks he had under charged us by $3. No big deal. A business can take that hit right? Wrong. The manager who mishandled the transaction came over to say the kid had messed up and wanted to cancel our order and recharge. We had already sat down so just agreed to the increased charge. Over the course of the meal the manager watched us the whole time and kept trying to interject into the conversation. She later had me pay the difference in cash. It was just a super weird and uncomfortable experience that made us never want to come back. Was it really worth the $3 to lose customers and get a negative review? I 'm just sorry for the new employee who 's being trained by that manager. 2 stars because the food was good though!

It's a pizza joint. Nothing fancy. Pizza is delicious. The crust is thin and chewy, not crispy and not too thin. Has a great flavor (you don't dread eating the crust with nothing to dip it in. The cheese is good too. It's not stringy, stays on the pizza. We had subs also... do not recommend, but the fries were really good. Moral of the story. When you go to a pizza shop, order pizza. You won't regret it!

Love the Urbana location! We primarily use it for takeout and it is always fast, high quality, and the staff is friendly. There is a lot more on the menu than just pizza, too.

We surveyed every pizza place in town. Manhattan is the Best pizza we can find in Urbana. Consistently good and fresh tasting. It's not inexpensive, but it's worthwhile if you appreciate good pizza.
