Looks to be the oldest bakery in Linz. I don't know if it is, but it looks pretty authentic. Friendly helpful staff, order a piece of genuine Linzer Torte, or take one home!
We had coffee and dessert here and found it very good. The young girl who waited on us was very friendly and polite. We ate inside and loved the feel in there. Old photos and paintings gave it a feeling of a century ago. We...were very pleased.
After taking the tram up to the Pöstlingbergkirche and wandering around in the fog it was perfect to relax in this cafe. The coffee was quite tasty and even though they didn 't list einspänner on the menu, they did have whipped cream... so it was perfect! (just ask for grosse kaffee mit schlag, bitte ;
If in Linz, you shall look for this place and get a slice of whatever you are attracted by. Starting with the Linzer, apparently. It is particulalry succulent in this establishment that used to be appointed by the imperial court...
