I ordered the Pizza Ortolana, it felt like they dropped an open salt shaker on top. Furthermore it was very juicy, which would work well with pasta's but makes the pizza dough very soft and weak, which made it impossible to hold the pizza. Overall the concept of the pizza is nice, and I liked the vegan mozzarella, but had to leave a lot of the pizza because the salt made it hard to eat. I wanted to say something to the staff about it, but they didn't even ask how the food was. And to top it all off, bringing a bill apparently takes 15 minutes.
Il Caminetto offers real italian (organic) pizza with a vegan mozzarella made out of rice. Their pizzas are delicious! I can recommend the Pizza Ortolana with grilled vegetables and tomatoes and they also have tasty antipasti. They tend to put a bit of salt on the pizzas toppings after baking if you don't like that or want to salt it by yourself you should tell them before. The only downpoint is when the mozzarella gets cold. It gets a little bit firm and isn't as tasty as when it is warm and melted. The staff and owner are authentic italian which you definately will notice in their great flavoured products.
I was in the il caminetto for the first time and was totally thrilled! They have a selection of vegan foods. also pana cotta (I had not had that for a long time) was also the quality very good. the grill is the absolute hammer. they want to get in. she service was very friendly and tried. there is also a gas garden. unfortunately the restaurant is not particularly cheap, but for eating and the service of my opinion is absolutely worth.
Only local in linz that offers vegan pizza, therefore 4 stars, although the selection is low and the taste of hown pizzalocalen is surpassed. for linzer veganer a clear recommendation!
