Max's Restaurant - Lipa

We did celebrated the traditional Visita Iglesia last Holy Thursday with a group of family members and one of our stop over was this restaurant in Lipa City, we did not have problems looking for parking, we were greeted by the staff and was asked to do an advance order, since they had a lot of people dining because it was almost lunchtime, our orders was taken by the courteous staff and after 15-20 minutes, we were taken to our improvised table inside the restaurant, they said it would take 20 minutes to serve our orders then, we waited for our food to be served,but to our surprise the opposite table, who was just seated had their orders served, we tried to call the attention of the staff and they said, they had some errors in their kitchen and our food would be served within 5 minutes, we had children with us and since it's almost noon time, we are really hungry from our journey, it took more than hour and still no food was served, nobody from the staff can give us an answer, why our food is not yet served! It's really something they needed to improve!

We waited for an 1 hour but the food were not served don't do advanced order We will come back here if Everything 10 to 20 minutes the served time

We had a snack here. We ordered a fresh lumpia and a fried lumpia. Did they changed the recipe of the sauce of the fresh lumpia? It did not taste that good anymore. I used to love it, but after tasting it again, not anymore. We also ordered the tofu with kangkong. It is said at the menu that the tofu is deep fried. Okay, I'm okay with that. But when it arrived, it was not deep fried. Maybe the chef is in a hurry to go home already. The sauce of the tofu with kangkong is the same with the fresh lumpia. Sweet and sour. Nope. Never again.

Max chicken recipe is great, always good fun, love the sides try the atchara always good, also the fresh lumpiang ubod and kare kare ox tail so tender, lechon kawali fried pork belly. Ice is safe made from purified water
