Contribuisci feedbackEarlier in the day, we had visited the Rizal Shrine in Calamba, Laguna, followed by a stop at the Luz-Katigbak Ancestral Home in Lipa. The historic home of artists and patriots provided a fascinating glimpse into the past. As classmates from Batch 1981, we were thrilled to create new memories together. The inviting ambiance of P-nay's made us reluctant to leave, and we look forward to returning for more delightful experiences in the future.
This restaurant has a cool and delightful ambiance that is very comfortable. The food is fantastic, with standout dishes like the crispy beef ribs, shrimp and chorizo mango salad, and hot tablea chocolate. The service and presentation are both top-notch and greatly appreciated. You can tell that the chefs put a lot of love and effort into their dishes, and it really shows in the final product.
This restaurant is a cozy spot to enjoy delicious food that is carefully prepared, just like my mom would make for me. Everything about this place - the atmosphere, the food, and the service - is top-notch. The cafe at Pnays is definitely a must-try.
If you love chocolate, you must have a cup or more of their hot tablea choco. This sweet aromatic beverage will wake you up and prime your senses for the rest of the food you will have. The others had coffee and tea which also had the same effect except the tablea was sweeter, but natural sweet.The tablea paired well with the tikoy.We had two big serving bowls full of steamed rice.I like spicy food so I went first for the sisig that had lots of chilli pepper. It was so good I had to pile on more rice on my plate. To balance out the spicy, I had the kare-kare (vegetable stew cooked in beefy creamy peanut gravy). More rice please.Next were a few slices of the crispy beef ribs. Crunchy on the outside, tender inside. Not salty, just right.I had some of the bangus tokwa sisig and the shrimp in chorizo. Delicious.Wanted some of the green mango ensalada but that was all gone by the time I was ready for it.I had another serving of the tablea choco as there was an extra mug full of it on standby. Before the early dinner, we came from the Rizal Shrine (Museo ni Rizal) in Calamba, Laguna where we spent the whole morning. By chance, there were other touring groups at the shrine, mostly Grade 6 students. From Calamba, we traveled to Lipa where we had a scheduled visit to the Luz-Katigbak Ancestral Home. We spent about two hours at the beautiful and historic home of artists and patriots.We're classmates from grade school (Batch 1981). We wanted to create new memories, so we did.We really wanted to stay longer at P-nay's. The ambiance was so welcoming and feel at home we did not want to leave.There will surely be more next times.
Cool, delightful, comfortable ambiance Food is great and sumptuous especially the crispy tadyang ng baka, shrimp in chorizo ensaladang mangga, hot tablea choco, among others. service and presentation is well appreciated. It was a labor of love and they did it very well.
