Kind of surprised that this is such a popular place and was really busy when we left around 930pm. Was recommended by our hostel as authentic and good Portugese food. Honestly, the food was awful,the service a little better and overly expensive. Party of six. Ribs were ok, tropical smoked chicken was very dry, as was the tuna. Hardly authentic, poor value and can't recommend.

Good food, but service leaves much to be desired. We wanted to try francesinhas, and were recommended to visit this place. We liked the food, but unfortunately after mentioning 3 times that I don't want to have an egg on my food, it still appeared.. I understand they probably have them precooked, but I was told that they can serve it without the egg, otherwise I'd ordered something else. So naturally I was a bit disappointed. The sandwich was good for what it is.

Extremely slow service, several of us did not get what we ordered and the steaks were cooked to death. We waited 30mins to get seated even though the tables were free and it took another 30mins for them to come and take our orders. When the food finally arrived it was the wrong dishes for some of us and they did not care to correct it.

Good food! The mini versions of the traditional dish are big enough for a female meal. Dont ask for a house lemonade thou, youll get really strong lemonwater
