Cervejaria Germano - Lisboa

We've ended up here a couple of times. The beer is great and their servings of snails are amazing. It's a great place to start an evening for it has quick serving, strongly seasoned food and cold beer. I'd rate them 5/5 but for some reason asking for a rare, medium rare or medium well steak sandwich yields the same: medium well; hence 4/5.

Maybe it is not everybody 's cup of tea but the snails small and big (caracois and carcoletas) are fantastic. The best carcoletas I ever had. The come with a lemon butter sauce and are so savory ! The rest of the petiscos , call it Portuguese tapas are great too: pica-pau, moelas, choco frito, pregos, bifana. Not for a formal dinner but a casual one with friends ... They will love it

Small restaurant, with nice staff and the Best Bitoque (fried stake) in the area! It comes with cheese and a fried egg on top! It’s usually really tender and really tasty! Because it’s small it can have a lot of noise and it can have a line at the door. The snails or escargot are also very good — I personally don’t like snails but I’ve accompanied my friends there and they say they are really really good.
