Great American Disaster - Lisboa

After some authentic, historical route 66 diners on route 66 I was impressed. they are with the view and the feeling of the place on the point. the burgers are decent. the service is friendly.

The whole look and the feeling of a real American diner. he had the modernist is a beautiful burger with salat, tomaten, pickles and cheddar. very tasty and fresh. Salads are good too, quite large portions. drinks are very cheap! they must look for the place, it is in a building in the first floor.

Delicious tasting milkshakes including lactose free, they are not thick but a little on the thin side (mom liked it that way. Burgers are big and served on brioche style eggy soft buns. Meat patties were about average, they tasted fine and not overcooked. Not seasoned but the toppings and flavor choices enhance it all. Cheesy sauce with the onion rings was like a smooth velveeta style which I've really liked. They serve Super Bock beer! Decor is so cool, lots of retro 50s vibes. Excellent service too, they were very nice and so helpful. We are very short heights and the tables were so tall compared to the vinyl booth seating. Getting into the restaurant was a bit of a challenge. It's on the second floor of a large concrete building. Finding the stairs to get up was a little search. Then we had to take an elevator because my mom is in a wheelchair. The elevator is locked behind a glass anteroom, so we had to find the security guard (who was very nice friendly to let us up and then take the stairs down to let him know we were leaving.

Interesting Diner place on the 2nd floor facing the circle. Positives great view over the circle, interesting motif of an 1950's American diner, good milkshakes. Service was good. Price was right. Negatives food was filling but quality was mediocre. Fries were too mushy and burger was just ok. Overall I would recommend but don't come for the culinary experience.

Well being an American Here 's the low down It 's like a Dennys or Shoney 's without the flavor Fries are wayyy undercooked The chicken burger was swimming in some sort of Portuguese SNOT?? Yes a green tasteless concoction ?? I was starving so don 't kill me for having to masticate ... lol The best part of this was my DIET PEPSI SPOILER ALERT Burger Kings like 1 block from here... viva la WHOPPER : Betty Sue would COMMIT SCUICIDE HERE AND NEVER MARRY ANYWHERE NEAR HERE !!
