I was seeking for a place to eat a specific type of Bacalhau, namely the one with the bread crust. This place is among the rare places to offer bacalhau with maize bread crust, so I decided to give it a go. I ordered a glass of white wine, which was ok, and the maize crust bacalhau with spinach and potatoes. The food was ok. The fish was a bit overcooked, and a bit too fleshy to my taste. It wasn't the smooth fish taste. The portion was huge, especially the spinach. The worst part was that the waiter tried to have a date with me, and insisted!!! I was not interested, but he kept on insisting! There's no excuse to that! I would not recommend this place. You can find better places to eat in Lisbon, with kinder waiters and greater Bacalhau.
Best tapas in Portugal so far. Nothing like Barcelona style but still a way better than elsewhere. We came twice and liked it very much.
I'm a frequent client of this restaurant and the tapas (despite the fact is far from BARCELONA's cerveceria catalana) are really good as well as the service. Very client oriented, the staff always cares about you and tries to see if anything is missing. The food continues to be in a very good rate above average. Recommended!!!
The service was good however the food was poor. I ordered a sirloin steak however when it arrived it was a different cut, it was more like a rump. I had to have it well done as I'm pregnant and unfortunately it was too dry... I have had well done steaks before which were still juicy. The staff was however very nice and attentive but that's maybe because the restaurant was empty. That should have rang a bell!
