My experience at this restaurant this week was disappointing. The restaurant was busy and the decor was average. It took 20 minutes for our drinks order to arrive, and by the time we placed our food order, we were already starving. The food took another 25 minutes to come out, and it wasn't worth the wait. The fries seemed reheated and were only warm, not hot. The same issue was evident on other plates at our table. I ordered scampi, which was terrible and tasted like cold, low-quality fish fingers. Some others in our group had curry, which was tasty but served in very small portions. We decided not to stay for dessert, even though they looked appetizing. We were still hungry and just wanted to leave to get some hot, delicious food from a different place. We definitely won't be returning to this restaurant.
This restaurant is a fantastic spot for dining out, it is very relaxing and intimate. The hosts are very attentive and accommodating.
I really enjoyed the exhibition by textile artist Cas Holmes. The venue was stunning and easy to get to.
During our drive back from a road trip, we decided to have dinner at this restaurant. The ambiance was pleasant and cozy, however, we were greatly disappointed with the food. The fish and chips appeared to be frozen and arrived lukewarm with a heavy, greasy texture. It was no better than a meal you would find at a rest stop cafe. We have no intentions of dining here again.
