Assured no problem so five of us from four locations travelled to find they were full up and had a queue waiting outside. We were left trying to find an alternative, not good enough!
This restaurant used to be a great little spot. However, recent price increases are outrageous. £15 for a mediocre breakfast is not worth it, especially considering the questionable quality of the ingredients used. It seems like cheaper items, such as sausages and apple juice, are being served. While the presentation with old-fashioned china cups and saucers may be charming, the portion sizes are disappointingly small, like the £3.60 coffee that is only three small sips.
This restaurant is a great find, even though it may be a bit off the beaten path. The fact that it was busy when we visited is a testament to its popularity. Housed in a charming old converted farm shed, there is ample parking and it is wheelchair accessible. The restaurant also has a connected shop that sells clothing and various household items. The menu offered a good selection, the food was delicious, and the staff were attentive and friendly. The prices were reasonable. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely return in the future.
First visit to the Shed and we were very impressed. Shown promptly to a table by a very friendly waitress and our drink order taken while we were looking through the menu. Our food arrived promptly and was of excellent quality could not fault anything. While not cheap the food was not unreasonably priced. Would have no hesitation in recommending the Shed and will be back again.
Good car parking. First impression upon entering is he noise, high ceiling, few soft furnishings so the noise so the noise reverberates throughout the building, like a chicken house. Table that we sat at was very close to next table. I ordered the chicken stack, it did not say on the menu that it was chicken goujons, they were not nice, the peppered sauce was well watered down, I think, no sharpness to it at all. I checked the menu online, it does say goujons on it but not on the paper one in cafe. Very disappointed. The fish one of my friends ordered was very disappointed.
