Our room was large and comfortable. There were only a couple of restaurants in town, so we ate in the hotel, with Vladamir as our waiter. We started with cocktails (Aperol Spritz and Hendricks Gin and Fever Tree Tonic) and our meals were excellent. The following morning, we enjoyed breakfast in the hotel’s café. We would highly recommend the Royal Spa Hotel.
Lovely friendly restaurant ideal for lunch or coffee and cake. Bright and clean and on the Main Street. Good value for money
As things open up from covid , it is good to find that quality has not diminished at this reliable hotel . As yet seating is only outside albeit in a comfortable, covered alcove with proper chairs and heaters on the wall. The menu though limited as yet can be adapted to fit special dietary needs.
Just back from a weekend room spotless Breakfast was fab all in it was a great place to stay. we will be back again. Many thanks to all, male waiter is first class. Regards. Anne.
Really disappointed. Garden is lovely and lures you in for evening dinner in the sun. Waitress came to check and recheck our order 3 times. (Which in a way reassured us don’t mind people making sure the order is correct) Then all the food starters and main courses all arrived at the same time. (Surely even the kitchen would have questioned this). Decided to continue and not send the food back and then found a 3 4cm piece of sharp plastic in the food. I couldn’t eat any further. Quite unbelievable really. Food wasn’t brilliant anyway. Consider other hotels in the region.
