We called on short notice for a Sunday lunch after our plans at another place fell through. The woman who greeted us was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The ambiance was delightful, and the food exceeded my expectations. The cauliflower cheese was incredibly cheesy, and the gravy was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place. Came here for a Sunday roast, food was ok but to me it was an average Sunday dinner that you would get at any chain pub. Unfortunately desert was worse.. I ordered a chocolate orange melt that they must have frozen as although it was warm on the outside of the cake it was still frozen in the centre. Pointless going unless reserved. For a family on holiday not knowing the area and hungry. Not happy at all.
