The crowd consisted mostly of men, workers, older couples, and some women having lunch. A friend recommended the French toast for breakfast, and it did not disappoint. Parking was sufficient, but may require parking farther away if busy as it is located near a state highway. Although we didn't see any children, the restaurant provides books or crayons to keep kids entertained.
This is a classic small-town diner with delicious food, friendly service, and a lively atmosphere with entertaining regulars. The prices are very reasonable too.
After three days of not having a satisfactory breakfast, I came across this restaurant on my way from Ithaca, NY to Queens, NY with my wife and two children. We were in desperate need of a hot meal and were delighted to find that the pancakes and bacon were delicious. The service was excellent and the kids enjoyed their pancakes with blueberries and eggs. I highly recommend this place, we felt very fortunate to have found it. The location also had good parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: Parking and seating accessible
A hop skip and a jump from the main drag of Whitney Point. And it's not a bad option for some weekend breakfast with the family! You will wait a bit for your food, because it's a small town kitchen, with one cook. That said, our breakfast tasted very good, and we appreciated the family-friendly feel.New ownership seems to be doing a good job. We will be back.
