Had a wonderful day celebrating our friends birthday, starting with delicious food. I got the beet salad with sesame crusted tuna and there was nothing left on my plate. The yellow and burgundy colored beets were over a warm bed of goat cheese also accompanied by zesty mouthwatering grapefruit and fennel. By far the best salad I have ever had, truly. I also chose a chai tea latte which added to the warmth of the meal and it was so good I ordered 2. Our waitress and other waitstaff who assisted us were all so kind and friendly. The place was packed, so happy we made reservations, but it didn't stop the food from coming out in a timely manner and we were continuously attended to. And there was still plenty of seating throughout. Can't wait to go back and try the taco bar!
I've eaten here at least 7-8 times and never had a bad meal. I love the seasonal menu so as it changes you can look forward to old favorites returning or trying something new. Today I had the baked onion soup and have declared it officially the best I've ever had. I'll look forward to my next visit! Like the town of Litchfield, this is a lovely little cafe restaurant. Really warm and cozy interior. The waitress Courtney was terrific too. Always around to ask me if I needed anything else but also giving me plenty of space too. Highly recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
