With views of the bay and a lighthouse nearby, guests can enjoy complimentary ski shows during the summer. The Hungarian Mushroom Soup is a must-try! The menu features a broad range of options, including gluten-free selections. It’s particularly famous for its ribs and fresh seafood, including lobster, walleye, swordfish, and ahi tuna. I highly recommend visiting for both the beautiful decor and the exceptional service.
What a letdown! The buffet was incredibly disappointing. The salad bar was lackluster and boring, featuring only bottled dressings. The soup had boiled down to a salty, mushy stew with hardly any liquid. The vegetables were overcooked and flavorless, resembling something from a grocery store freezer. The meats were dry, overcooked, and nearly inedible. Everything, from the gravy to the rolls, entrees, and sides, seemed pre-packaged—like it had been taken out of bags and cans and merely warmed up. It honestly tasted and looked like subpar cafeteria food, but at three times the price. I won't be returning and definitely wouldn't recommend it.
If you want to avoid overpaying for small portions, I recommend opting for the buffet. I ended up spending $60 for two 4 oz stuffed sirloins and two twice-baked potatoes, which were essentially just mashed potatoes.
