Pollo Regio - Little Elm

We've been visiting this restaurant for years, and the staff is outstanding. Ernesto and Carolina made us feel incredibly welcome. The tables and floors were impeccably clean. As always, the food was excellent. I highly recommend this place for families who can't choose between delicious chicken and high-quality Mexican cuisine. Definitely give it a try! Food rating: 5/5.

Wow, just wow! We happened to be parked outside while getting ice cream for our kids when I glanced to the left and spotted Pollo Regio. I had never heard of this place before, but I'm so glad I decided to give it a try! We ordered the full chicken family meal, a barbacoa burrito, loaded barbacoa nachos, chicken quesadillas, fries, and horchatas. As you can imagine, we ordered quite a bit, and we were thoroughly satisfied! The meat was incredibly tender, and everything was seasoned to perfection. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Ernesto, for your amazing service and delicious food! You and the entire staff truly delivered!

Dining room was nasty. Waited on my food well over 15 mins, they had bagged it left it in the counter. Rather than he manager step in he was to concerned about a freaking interview, never mind the long line forming while employees are in the back (in the open) talking. The Plano location would NEVER. I will never return to this location. I'll make the drive to Plano.

This unassuming restaurant is a true gem! Some of the best mesquite grilled chicken you’ll ever eat, juicy, melt-off-the-bone and well portioned! And it comes with two sides and corn tortillas at an impressively-low price for the feast that you get.Superb entrees as well, with large heaps of meat in the case of the loaded fries, and copious amounts of toppings that are offered on the side.A freshly-stocked salsa bar that caters to all tastes, including those looking for some heat or prefer to keep it mild.A respectable amount of kid-friendly options for picky eaters, with crispy French fries as a good solid fall-back.And a review can’t be complete without gushing over the legendarily-amazing corn chips that are tucked away by the water fountain and are free to serve; these are seasoned with some kind of culinary magic that makes them difficult to put down!And just as good as the food is the incredibly generous service, with incredible staff members such as Ernesto who went above and beyond to exceed our every needs, make us feel welcomed, and ensure that we got our delicious feast to our table much faster than other so-called “fast food” places. Such generosity and attention to detail deserves to be acknowledged, and I’m happy to be able to share and inspire others to experience this for themselves!

We’ve discovered our hidden gem! Having come from a Mexican border town, we’ve been disappointed in our search for authentic Mexican cuisine, but that search is finally over. They even played Selena over the speakers! At first, the prices seemed a bit high, but I completely understood once we saw the portion sizes. I weigh 220 pounds and felt completely satisfied after eating my fill! The horchata was exceptional too.
