Service was nearly non-existent; the owner never inquired about our meal experience. When we asked if the fish stew could be served over rice or pasta, he rudely declined. There was no salt on the table, implying we should eat according to his taste rather than our own. We also experienced a lack of water service, and the two waiters were often missing throughout the night, prompting us to wonder if they were busy cooking and washing dishes. Meanwhile, Nicola strutted around with an air of superiority. We had to keep an eye out for waitstaff to request water, salt, etc. It was a busy Saturday night in a small restaurant, but the experience was not worth the hype touted by the pretentious Nicola. This was the last time we waste our time and money at this mediocre Italian restaurant. For a BYO option, it was quite expensive, totaling over $200 for four entrees and three appetizers (though I would advise against the fourth terrible cod salad that Nicola raved about!).
