La Hacienda Mexican - Little Rock

We had a wonderful birthday lunch for a group of 12. The service and food were both outstanding.

We stumbled into this restaurant due to the closeness to the Children's hospital and our desire for Mexican food. What a wonderful restaurant!!! The chips and salsa were heavenly and everything else was very flavorful and plentiful. The staff were awesome and very friendly.

I live in CHENAL, yet I prefer this Mexican restaurant; everyone is hard working and are pleasant! I like that it’s a family restaurant, and comfortable!

The chips and salsa were good. The green salsa was more like a sauce instead of a salsa and it was a little sweet which was weird. I agree with a previous reviewer about the red sauce being sweet. The taste was weird too. Don't get the red sauce. I'm not sure why they are making their sauces sweet. I had the red sauce on the cheese enchilada that came with my combo. The tacos were good. I didn't care for the chile relleno because the breading around it was literally bread and almost 1/2 thick in some places. It was weird and took away from the taste and texture of the chile. Atmosphere was typical Mexican restaurant. It was busy so it was loud and there were kids screaming constantly. All the servers work all the tables. Everyone was nice and the service was good. The service was the best part.

Quick place for Mexican food, but they are not as good as the Benton location at all. The oil taste is left on everything, chips, and shells. The beans have an awful taste. The ground hamburger meat needs to be cooked longer and needs more Mexican flavors. I It is very bland food. Not what I would call authentic Mexican cuisine compared to many in the thousands of restaurants I've been to in multiple states. This tastes like cooked food with no seasonings. Salsa has no taste. Rice is good.
