The service at this restaurant is top-notch and the food is excellent. The staff is attentive and the view from the hotel is spectacular. It's a quiet and peaceful place to enjoy a meal.

My wife and I, staying 30 minutes away, decided to check out this pub after reading the great reviews. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our experience. We ordered two cokes with our Sunday roast sharing platter, but had to remind the staff to bring them after waiting 10 minutes. The restaurant wasn't very busy, with only two tables of customers. Our food arrived shortly after we asked for plates, but the service was lacking. The young waitress seemed curt when we asked about the plates, and as our food got colder, the staff kept bumping into me as they walked past. The beef was slimy, the potatoes seemed frozen, the pork was dry, and the gravy was watery. The staff did not seem attentive or friendly, and we left without a thank you or goodbye from any of them. Overall, we will not be returning to this place. Despite its clean and modern appearance, we recommend avoiding this restaurant and finding a nice country pub instead. Service: 2/10.
