Contribuisci feedbackOur second visit to Cowshed Liverpool was truly amazing. Booking a table on their website was easy. Upon arrival, we were greeted by warm and friendly staff. The atmosphere was fantastic, with all staff members being cheerful and friendly. The food was exceptional - we shared the croquet special mac and cheese for starters (which was so delicious we could have eaten a whole bowl), my husband had the special fillet steak on a bed of tagliatelle topped with a sausage and parmesan fritter (which we had last time and it is the best), and I had a fillet steak with blue cheese sauce and fries. This was the best steak we have ever had, cooked to perfection. For dessert, we enjoyed the Cheesecake, which was delightful. We can't wait to return in the New Year. Thank you, Cowshed, for an amazing meal.
The staff at this restaurant were amazing - friendly and welcoming as they escorted us to our table. We were seated in a lovely booth on the first floor and were promptly offered tap water. As we perused the menu, the server informed us of the specials, making it difficult to choose. We opted to share the delicious garlic bread, though we regretted not ordering two. For our main course, we both enjoyed perfectly cooked medium rare flat irons, accompanied by a side of fries, garlic mushrooms, pepper sauce, and a particularly outstanding blue cheese sauce. Every dish was exceptional, but the blue cheese sauce stood out in particular. My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals and left our plates clean. Overall, this restaurant offers great food and service, and I would gladly return in the future.
I recently returned to this restaurant for what I believe is the best steak in Liverpool! The staff are just as delightful as the food. I will definitely be returning again in the future.
Went here after reading the fantastic reviews. We weren't disappointed! I've seen a few reviews saying it has a student vibe about the place, and I can see what people mean, but the restaurant is immaculate and nicely decorated. We found the staff very welcoming and friendly. But the food, wow. We had the sharing steak for two, and it was perfectly cooked. One of the best I've had, the sides the cabbage and Chorizo is amazing. Amazing value for money aswel, sharing steak two sides, and we had an extra side of fries with a glass of wine, and a beer came to just over £70. Would recommend it to anyone.
Absolutely superb meal, I had the special, Fillet Steak on a bed of leeks with Fondant potato topped with bacon and cheese and accompanied with a pot of Spinach and Garlic sauce. The service was excellent, the restaurant atmosphere was warm and friendly. Cannot recommend highly enough. Dining at this level at this price range is very rare.
