The menu was expansive. I started w/the pickle tray and some poppadom. I was happy to see most then the usually selection of three options, as the tray came with eight or nine different options highlighting slightly different flavors. For my main, I had the Tiger King Prawn Doplaza. It was great, but the portion was in my opinion a bit small. I was glad I got some Peshwari Naan to accompany it as if not I may have left hungry. Overall, a great meal slightly diminished by the portion size.
Was staying at the nearby Jurys Inn for a conference at the ACC. Walked by this a few times and did not even realize it was an Indian restaurant. Anyway noticed it was open late on my last night and got some takeout. Their lamb chop appetizer was among the best variant of lamb chops that I have ever had--it was extremely tender and deliciously spiced. The cumin rice was also quite good. The staff was extremely nice and I really appreciate their lamb recommendation. I wish that I had known about it earlier during my stay--I would have been a frequent visitor. Kitchens at the hotel seem to close early and Dominos (if the only option for late night orders) was definitely not my preference, despite being an American.
Easily the best Indian restaurant in Liverpool. Can even go as far as to say it could possibly top anything Manchester has to offer. Service excellent, decor excellent, food excellent. One for all curry lovers to try!
