Sharon, we went to this restaurant on a Saturday night and found the atmosphere to be welcoming. Although we did not make a reservation, we were happy to enjoy a drink at the bar while waiting for a table to become available. The food we ordered was delicious, especially the hake with tomatoes. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. When the bill came, we were pleasantly surprised by how reasonable it was. I highly recommend giving this place a try!
Little Italy is the latest restaurant from the team behind Tribeca and Neon Jamon. Situated in the former location of Tribeca on Smithdown Road, this Italian eatery is a cozy spot on the outskirts of the city center, near Salt House Bacaro. The interior is bright and airy, with a tree as the centerpiece and chipboard wall decorations. The menu pays homage to its Spanish roots with Estrella on tap, but I would have preferred an Italian beer. I tried the baccala langoustine ravioli with sage butter, which was tasty but the pasta was a bit thick, masking the delicate filling. Overall, the experience was enjoyable.
