Contribuisci feedbackWhat a disgraceful way to treat people. I booked this restaurant for 14th February for 4 people six weeks ago, booked through the Italian Club themselves. I made it clear that we were not interested in Valentines Night and that seemed to be that. Then I received an e-mail 26/01/24 demanding £40 within the next hour or the booking would be cancelled, I didnt see the mail until 27/01/24 and a booking cancellation confirmation e-mail as well. We are people of a certain age and are not in the habit of breaking booking once made. I will not consider this restaurant as worthy of my money ever again. Plenty more fish in the sea!! I'm off to find one who treats the customer as king.
Arrived on a busy Friday night without a booking, we were quickly seated by a friendly waitress. The food was gorgeous, the service was excellent and the ambience was wonderful. The lasagna with home made bread and a green salad was the best lasagna I have tasted. My partner enjoyed his pizza too. Accompanied by a large glass of wine and a beer it came to less than £50 so it was great value. Highly recommended.
I went to the italian club after a day at a local cinema in the area, and the menu prices were a bit inflated but seemed reasonable. i ordered the lobster ravioli as i enjoy seafood and the menu seemed to have a lot of seafood options, so i thought i’d be safe. i thought wrong. i got home and i felt so violently ill, and i got really bad food poisoning from the italian club. i really wouldn’t recommend this place, my friends food tasted really bland, cheap and was cold. the only good thing was the waiter, he was lovely. i emailed the restaurant and left a google review but i’ve heard nothing back, they seem to not care. save yourself and your stomach!
Been a regular guest at Italian Club for a little over a year. My partner and I can never scratch that Italian itch anywhere else other than here! As a native Italian, I can assure that The Italian Club has undisputedly the best non neapolitan style pizza in Liverpool it 's the only place where I can eat pizza in Liverpool now. The pasta dishes tend to be served a tad under cooked (just please, stop calling it al dente when the pasta is literally crunchy), but the staff is always happy to correct this when brought to their attention. Overall, I couldn 't recommend The Italian Club more than I already do. Will definitely return!
I don't like writing bad reviews but went there Tuesday night with a group of friends and was so disappointed. Firstly we sat at a table by the window and the table was so sticky my plate actually stuck to it. The food was so bland and practically no service. I know they were really busy there was actually a queue waiting for our table, I know we were only allocated a certain amount of time but it felt so rushed with absolutely no customer service. First and last time there.
