The Liverpool Pub

First of all, the food arrived with more than 15 minutes apart, leaving some of us waiting very long for our food, and others in our group finishing before we even got our food. Me and my brother ordered Cajun chicken wraps, one came in almost tasteless. It had chicken and stir fried veggies in it. The other one came in without any stir fried veggies, and looking like they dumped the whole spice jar in the food. It was around 3 tablespoons of dry spice mix in the wrap that I took out from the wrap, it was not edible. On top of that, some of the things on the menu were not available, which was very unfortunate. The staff were pretty friendly. Way too loud music, like most of the places in Liverpool. Couldn’t talk to each other without yelling in order to have a conversation.

Visited for family tea and watch football match. Kids (13 and 16) made welcome. Food came promptly and all v hot. My curry arrived with chips rather than 1/2 chips and rice. Didn’t matter but waitress insisted on bringing the rice. Best veg curry ever had. Reasonably priced. May return for breakfast tmw. All staff v friendly. Place kept clean and tidy. Thanks

I visited the Liverpool pub recently I was truly impressed. I suffer from various food allergies, I spoke with Chef about my options I asked if they had Gluten free Bread, she said no….But offered to go and buy me some….I asked if their sausage was Gluten free, Chef said No , but she went out for bread and came back with Gluten Free Sausage too. Very impressed with The Liverpool Pub, James Street

Went for breakfast this morning and what a smashing breakfast I got with great coffee. Everything was cooked to perfection. We asked for the eggs to be turned and they was just fab.

I bet for those who party hard all week it should be thrilling, but as business owners it's your duty (and humane) to make sure you insulate your noise properly. It's exhausting to be accommodated in the hotel next to this, with or without a kid, and have to put up with shaking floor and windows on a Tuesday night. I cannot understand what's going on, since I've been here through the weekend and we've had no iasues with this before. Then all of a sudden, Tuesday came. 8 pm. Then 9pm. 10 pm arrived, still vibrating floor and windows. Like what the... Why can't you just be polite?! It's past 11 pm and still going. Congrats. They're supposed to be closed by now, too. Glad someone is having fun. Wish it wasn't on the detriment of 20 other people trying to sleep.
