I was in town for an event and I was looking for a quick dinner. This place was right near my hotel. When I arrived I was able to take advantage of the happy hour special to get a half price margarita, I was glad I chose the small because they were strong, definitely not watered down. The chips and salsa were good, the first bowl is included but there is a charge for refills. There were a number of tempting looking items on the menu but I ended up going with an old faithful, chicken fajitas. The food came out very quickly and was quite tasty. I was a little surprised that the meat was cut into very thin strips but it definitely tasted fine and the sizzling platter also had a nice amount of caramelized onions and peppers. Overall, well put together.
Went here for a nice night out. Sat at the bar, but the bartender was to busy doing anything but wait on his customers. We had to ask for everything from across the bar. Never got our appetizer. Here’s the kicker, we were the only people at the bar! Complete nonsense. Furthermore they charge $31.99 for couples fajitas, which are sub-par. A very disappointing experience. We will never return here again.
They don’t have a bartender. There were three separate people including me at the bar and we all had a different server. I arrived. Tried ordering a margarita without sours like the menu said but the sever not bartender told me all the margaritas had sours. I tried it anyway but it was still sweet. I had to ask someone else for chips and salsa that the others received prior to their drink orders. Carnitas were good. Had to find my own silverware to eat it. Servers were super friendly but they weren’t bartenders. Ordered a second drink and she wasn’t sure how to make it even though it was whiskey and tea. Guy next to me his separate server/bartender asked him 3 times if he wanted a drink, each time he said yes, each time she forgot. When he told her to forget about it 30 min later she said her manager hates to void things. Please don’t make your customers feel guilty about your missteps. Need to improve on management/ structure
My wife and I got here late for a birthday party. We live 30plus miles away and traffic was miserable at 5 PM. We ordered as soon as we set down because the rest of the party of 12 had already ordered. I barely got a few tastes of the great chunky guacamole before my order arrived. The waitress asked who ordered the enchiladas poblanos and I said i did. I was surprised to find a giant plate that looked like 4 enchiladas melted together. I remarked to several people the mole was medium orange and most places it is dark black. Any way I took about 5 or 6 bites and another waitress brought the enchiladas I originally ordered. She explained the order I had originally was a giant Burrito with beans, chicken and beef. It tasted great with the salsa. lettuce and onion toppings. Every one said they did not order the burrito I was eating so I ate about half of it and the 4 enchiladas with mole. Two chicken and two ground beef. Both very tasty. My wife had the chicken burrito and liked it a lot, but complained the chicken was stringy and hard to cut and chew. The other 10 people in our party liked their various orders. I can't comment on the drinks because my wife and I don't drink. The service was fast and the waitresses were very pleasant. Nice atmosphere, but it still looks like a converted steak house. Parking was plentiful and the restaurant had plenty extra room at 5 30 PM.
