I was unable to finish my meal as the chicken did not taste fresh and had a strange texture. I was not impressed with the food quality at all. I would rate the food as 1, service as 3, and atmosphere as 1.

The food at this restaurant is average, but the customer service is extremely poor. The young boy who answers the phone has a bad attitude, which may be understandable since he appears to be around 12 years old and may rather be playing outside. The older girl also has a terrible attitude both over the phone and in person when picking up food. Additionally, the restaurant recently received a food standards rating of 0/5 on August 3, 2023. With a new Chinese takeaway on Middleton St, I would not recommend this restaurant.

I have always enjoyed the delicious food from this restaurant. The service is top-notch for takeout, and I usually order dinner meals. The price per person ranges from £1 to £10. The food quality, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5.

I have a take away every week from The Golden Rice Bowl the chicken balls are ENORMOUS and the sauce is perfect. I also order the Chicken Cantonese Style. However, on Wednesday May 19th, there might have been a different chef as the two orders were SO salty or had way too much MSG my sodium levels went through the roof and I was drinking water all night! Such a shame as the food is usually excellent! Service: Take out

Recommended by our air bnb but possibly the worst Chinese we’ve ever had. Everything frozen and reheated. You’re better off going to the tesco down the road and getting a microwave Chinese which would save you money and taste better. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20
