Dietary restrictions: The waiter told me my meal was gluten and dairy free, turns out it wasn’t not a great start to the wedding I attended the next day. This wasn’t a slight cross contamination but likely a mistake/ lack of knowledge of the food being served. Otherwise the staff and food was great. Please take more care in future. A well run kitchen, a superb Chef, excellent service. Fish and chips was a really chunky piece of cod, with a light, crispy, delicious batter. It was delicious and not at all greasy. A real step above average pub food. It felt like really good value for the effort that went into it, the quality of the ingredients and the expertise of the service. Strongly recommend, go out of your way to eat here. Food: 5
