Chick N Run - Locust Grove

I have dined at Chick N Run several times and have always enjoyed it. The food is good and reasonably priced. Today, I tried the chicken livers, and they were excellent. The coleslaw was tasty as well. I would definitely recommend this place!

I ordered a special for 50 wings last week and was shocked to find the price had jumped to $60 when I went to pick them up! This was a significant increase from what I was accustomed to paying. I've always enjoyed the wings, but I've never been a fan of the fries. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, I was informed that they had raised prices across the board. I considered not going through with the payment, but ultimately I did. I will not be ordering from here again! I had tolerated the mediocre fries and overly sweet tea at the old price, but I won't be returning.

The fries were somewhat soggy and cold, while the wings were just decent. The honey BBQ sauce was tasty, but the wings were a bit difficult to eat. On the bright side, the service at the counter was friendly.

As a first-time visitor, I can confidently say I’ll be a lifelong customer! The bun was slightly oversized, but once it was smashed down, it was just perfect. The burger itself was seasoned flawlessly; I could have closed my eyes and thought I was eating a Fuddruckers burger. Honestly, I think it’s even better than Fuddruckers. The lunch special for $6.50 includes a generously sized drink, which is a fantastic deal. It baffles me why people still choose to pay $8 for a low-quality burger meal at McDonald's just down the street. My only complaint is that I wish they had dine-in options or a patio seating area because the polyfoam box and wax paper really don’t do the rolls justice. The customer service was top-notch, both when I placed my order over the phone and when I picked it up. Having worked in the food and beverage industry, I have a bit of insight, and I encourage everyone to support the much better local options available!

This small restaurant serves the best chicken and hamburgers I've ever had. The staff is incredibly nice and friendly. If I lived closer, I would definitely eat there more often. When we arrived, a young man was already dining, so I asked him if he frequented the place. He replied that he visited all the time and that the food was excellent, which I took as a good sign—and he was right! The next time I'm in the area, I’ll be stopping by again.
