We had some southern classics that were all amazing! The sauce on the shrimps and grasses was to die. The red beans and rice had a brilliant taste. The Beignets were hot and fresh with lots of powder sugar on the top. For me, could the Jambalaya? ve had a little more taste or kick, but still good. Stop when you come in Cache Valley.
Very good food. Coleslaw is the best I've had for a long time. Cajun-Spice was a bit strong for me, but I'm a Woose when it comes to heat. I had the BBQ chicken poor boy, it was delicious! My niece liked her shrimp pasta, except the mushrooms and path to salty. My nephew had the chicken strips and green beans. He loved it. They say they have the best blue ranch and fry sauce he ever had. My sister had the Pastrami burger with Jambalaya, that was a lot to season for her.
What can I say? Now for my husband and I, who did not find Cajun food anywhere these days, although he is an Otr truck driver and we 're in every state, this place is the sky on earth for every real southern traditionalist!!! We were greeted by James, who knows food by distance Cajun and knows how to be the best, funniest and gracious southern host we have seen. This place has everything! Frog legs to melt in the mouth, divine fresh catfish, red beans and rice with the laurel leaf that forgets most cooks) and shrimps and yellow) grits that send your mouth and mind into a Cajun coma! The atmosphere is not land, but Cajun, as it should be. Order your food, sit somewhere and with almost no waiting, the food comes as fresh as we 've seen everywhere. Triple D Food Channel) Show is here and Guy signed the wall, there's photos galore to see over the fullness of it sweet tea and soft drinks. You will feel like at home by serving yourself cutlery, hot sauce and the best thing all a roll of paper towels on every table! This is the best small bayo restaurant in Utah, if not all states. Try it out and even though we're saying the hamburgers are awesome....go Cajun, you won't regret it!!
So, I so enjoyed Maymoe's last week I had to come back. This week I had the Baton Rouge Cheese steak and Red Beans and Rice. I am learning that everything they serve is awesome. The meat on the sandwich was so tender and flavorful and there was a hidden sauce just waiting to surprise my taste buds. The Red Beans and Rice tasted as good, if not better than, anything I've had in Nawlin's or Louisiana! I am so glad I found this culinary treasure! Looking forward to my visit next week when I get to return to Utah
Before I went to Logan, I was looking for lunch. The recommendation was supported by a local in the Big Deal Store on the street. I didn't regret it! The shrimps were amazing! This alone was worth the two-hour drive. The owner came out and served me, checked me later even with bread to be able to enjoy every idiot! You have to come here!
