The food here is delicious and we loved the classic Xinjian dishes of BBQ lamb skewers (seasoned with chilli powder, cumin, black pepper and salt) and wonderfully chewy hand pulled noodles. The stir fried green beans with sun dried chilli and Sichuan pepper were fantastic. We'll be back soon to try some more dishes!
After the steak lunch at the Normanby Hotel today, I was hankering for some stir fried hand-pulled noodles for dinner. As we drove into the car park in front of Endless Noodles at 6pm I couldn't believe my luck, a vacant car park! Vacant car park spaces are a rare commodity in this small precinct of restaurants. Moments later we were in the small restaurant with half a dozen diners eating happily. As the affable owner offers me the menus, I order a hot pot of Chinese tea and my girlfriend opts to sit outside to enjoy the light cool breeze. The current owner took over this restaurant four years ago. He deserves credit for being able to maintain food quality and serving portions without increasing prices. Many of Brisbane's Oriental restaurants have maintained their menu prices but have reduced their serving sizes. It's akin to Arnotts reducing the size of their Tim Tams! Feeling peckish I order the shallot pancake, chive & egg pastries, salt & pepper prawns and the mandatory combination pulled noodles. Five minutes later, while sipping our hot tea, I'm surprised to see our pulled noodles served. I fend off my hungry dining partner's flailing chopsticks while snapping the all important photo. As she fills up her bowl, I see beef but no chicken or seafood and realise there has been a mixup with the orders. I can't send the noodles back with 25% of it missing so I tuck into the noodles too. The noodles are delicious, springy and chewy covered in the flavourful sauce. The shallot pancakes, prawns and pan fried chives & egg pastries are delivered. They are all freshly cooked and yummy! As we were finishing our meal the owner appears with a plate of combination hand pulled noodles. Apparently, we were given the beef noodles meant for another table and the owner now insisted on giving us our original order "gratis", free of charge. I'm taken aback and thank him for his generosity. We pack up these noodles into takeaway containers for lunch tomorrow then drive to Sakuraya, Market Square seeking something sweet.

The noodles are exquisite. Thick chewy texture, coated in a thick savoury sauce with bold, powerful hits of garlic and soy. Accompanying the noodles were crunchy buk choy , celery, capsicum, cabbage imparting a well received crunch with each spoonful of textured noodles. 8/10 would come again.
