Kiss My Fish - Logan City

20/5/2023 I used to love going here but has been more hit and miss since the new owners took over. The positive first is The batter is much much much better! The servings however have decreased by 50% quite easily. You pay $8.90 for a Large chips then you expect to see more than a small bowl full. The potato cakes are much smaller than what was previously supplied. The biggest Con was the fish portions, absolutely nothing like what was displayed in the refrigerated display. Our Snapper Barrumandi was incredibly small for the high asking price, in fact, I would go as far as to say that the fish was easily $5 more expensive than it should have been. The saving grace, the food was all cooked beautifully, equally the lemon was very fresh. But fair go mate, you either need to look at the portion sizes or reconsider your price point, as that's the only way this business is going to flourish remain a popular eating spot.

I know exactly when new management took over. I am enough of a regular to the shopping centre to know. I have offered my opinion in a supportive, discreet manner to be met with the owner dismissive my very valid and factual observations on the different product they began using. Always an excuse umm the supplier, be good soon .. next time I ask th same manager have you go the regular chips back yet, has the supplier got stock yet? (Previously told their signature KMF CHIPS which I said we 're not the same was because of a 'supplier '... Clearly was lied to. This timeplayed dumb and said sorry no understand. Hmmmm!! All of a sudden very frequent staff turnover, prices raised and quality and serving sizes lessened. Same chef who is clearly terrified of owner. Owner and his wife now Alwar present and constantly overlooking every transaction. Was sucja happy community friendly place before with clear commitment to the local community, fundraising, signed sporting paraphernalia etc etc. Now it 's your run of the mill fish and chip shop get in get out attitude. No recognition of regulars, the once fresh seafood is now foul and NOT local. Just a let down for Rochedale.Parfrwy Seafoods ALL THE WAY!!!

Ordered tonight Mediterranean platter, was told no halloumi, but I could have extra calamari or extra octopus in replacement, asked for prawn clutlets instead, was offered two for halloumi replacement. I’ve had this platter before and it was nothing like tonight’s platter, greasy mess. Turkish bread had something horrible painted on it, could not eat it. They ask $19.90 for this, not worth it tonight.normally this is full and lovely and fresh not so greasy, photo says a thousand words. Yuk.... will not be back to order this platter again. Very disappointed for our local fish and chips shop. I think they need to pick up there act on food, the lady who served us at the counter was lovely, friendly and helpful, chef on the other hand???? needs to pick up their act, food quantity and quality. VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Regrettably yet again Kiss My Fish is up to its old tricks. Charging premium prices for small serving size. We thought due to the current climate we should spend our locally so gave KMF another go. Sorry guys but this is the last time you rip us off. Very dissappointed.

Walked in at 10:30 on a Sunday with no one waiting. Waited 5 mins to be served after being served it took the girl 10 mins to take my order and key it in the till. Once almost completed a ordered a side of avacado when another staff member walked over and rudely said if you don’t tell us which meal you want it on how are we supposed to know. I then walked out and spent my $50 next door. Never again
