I think I pampered myself from the gong cha in the qw in melbourne. the tee was still a cut over others, but it was lukewarm and the pearls were too hard to be undercooked, similar to the indooroopilly chatime. they also lacked taste (read: sugar), which is good for my health, but not for my taste buds!
Delicious, refreshing and authentic ambiente (3.5): pleasant and actiw. in the corner of the eighth street, so can very compact and tight the busier gets service (3.0): standard service, nothing special. fast service speed, which I am looking forward to (4.6): delicious, tasty and tasty. $6.40 for a regular brown sugar milk tea and pearls.. I already felt it was overpriced to begin with but had a shock when my order went over the price of even a good cup of coffee! I think I'll be passing up on Gong Cha from now on not worth the price, and the pearls tasted really plasticky this time around.
Liked Gong Cha for the reason that their teas are nice and strong. Tried quite a few: royal pearl milk tea, matcha red bean, lychee oolong with aloe, QQ passion fruit green tea, grapefruit green tea with basil seeds, earl grey milk tea with 3Js, taro milk tea and brown sugar milk tea. Liked the fact that we were asked of our sugar and ice level preference. The queue was always long but the service was pretty fast.
